5th Annual Wedding Expo comes to downtown Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Guests are invited to visit five different downtown venues during this year’s wedding expo.

The Downtown Rockford Wedding Expo takes place April 5, at different venues in downtown Rockford.

The locations include:

• Embassy Suites: noon-8 p.m.
• Prairie Street Brewing Co.: noon-4 p.m.
• Rockford City Market: 3-8 p.m.
• The Standard: 3-8 p.m.
• Union: 3-8 p.m.

Each venue offers something different, from tours of event spaces to the final touches of your wedding plans. Wedding photographers, catering, beauty specialists, florists, coordinators and other vendors will be available throughout the expo.

“Our main focus was really just to bring attention to the downtown Rockford area. So, whether that’s ourselves or our neighbors, we just wanted to highlight the beauty in the area and the history,” Maya Cason, Event Specialist at Rockford City Market.

The event also includes live music, cocktails and raffles.

Tickets are required to enter the Rockford City Market Building.
