WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) -- The Harlem High School teacher who admitted to having an ongoing romantic relationship with one of his students has been sentenced.
A judge sentenced 34-year-old Bryan Marchione to 30 months probation and 30 days in jail for indecent solicitation of a minor. Marchione pleaded guilty to the charge earlier in July 2016.

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – A Harlem High School teacher accused in a criminal sexual abuse case involving a 15-year-old student has pleaded guilty to indecent solicitation of a minor.
Investigators say 34-year-old Bryan Marchione admitted to having an ongoing romantic relationship with one of his students in July of 2015.
Authorities say Marchione confessed to meeting the teen on numerous occasions where they kissed and he touched the 15-year-old inappropriately.
Marchione is expected to be sentenced on July 22.

UPDATE (WIFR) -- New details have surfaced in the criminal sexual abuse case involving a Harlem High School teacher and his student.
33-year-old Bryan Marchione of Loves Park was taken into police custody this past Friday and was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a 15 year old student.
According to the statement taken by Roscoe Police, Marchione admitted to having an ongoing romantic relationship with one of his students.
In text messages found by police, the teacher and student sent hundreds of texts back and forth.
Police say Marchione told them that he met the student at the student's house where they kissed and he touched the 15-year-old inappropriately.
Officers also say Marchione admitted that he took the teenager to Porter Park where they held hands before driving to a subdivision where he again touched the teen.
Marchione's phone and the student's phone and laptop have been taken into evidence.
Police say within the hundreds of texts, both the 33-year-old and 15-year-old said that they love each other several times.
Marchione is scheduled for arraignment in a Winnebago County courtroom on August 21st.
There has been no word as of yet if he has been fired by the Harlem School District, however, according to Roscoe Police, the district is in full cooperation.

ROSCOE (WIFR) – A Harlem High School teacher is arrested for sexual abuse.
Roscoe Officers say a joint investigation is ongoing with the Harlem School District into 33-year-old Bryan Marchione of Loves Park.
The incident has also been referred to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
