Campgrounds Full for Labor Day

LOVES PARK (WIFR) -- This is video of Rock Cut State Park. Employees say the grounds are booked solid. This summer, campsites across the nation saw a 5% increase over last year. 60% of RV owners are hitting the road this weekend. Experts say many families are choosing to set up a tent in an effort to spend less money.
"I think the camping world has been highly populated this season, more than previous years. I think it's due to the economy, and I think it is a great way for people to mingle, and you make new friends at camp sites. Its great," says Margie Trophy.
Some outdoor lovers say they consider camping a vacation close to home.
