Rockton native Corey Anderson always ready for a fight

CHICAGO, Ill. (WIFR) His nickname may be "Overtime" but Rockton native Corey Anderson is putting in the time working out in anticipation of his next fight.

The Hononegah grad took time away from training to appear at the UFC 238 Fan Experience outside the United Center on Saturday. Anderson still does not know when his next fight will be, but the eighth ranked light heavyweight maintains he is ready to go when his name is called.

"I want to be the best at all times, any time, any where," said Anderson. "So if that's the case, I got to be working out at all times and be ready whenever."

While Anderson is not on the UFC 238 fight card, his Team Ricardo Almeida BJJ teammate Marlon "Magic" Moraes is in the main event against Henry Cejudo for the vacant bantamweight championship.

"Best thing about tonight is my man Marlon Moraes is going to get that strap. And new!"
