Lutheran administration investigates boys basketball coach following DUI arrest

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) Lutheran is looking into the arrest of boys basketball head coach Tom Guse after he was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI on January 11.

Athletic Director Josh Sternquist said he is not able to comment on the matter except to say that the administration and school board have been made aware of Guse's arrest.

Lutheran Executive Director Don Gillingham is in Texas on a school-related matter and is unavailable to make a comment at this time.

Guse has been the Crusaders head coach since 2010.
