Lena-Winslow/Stockton co-op dominates for second state title in three years

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WIFR) In a matchup of the state's two top teams in Class 1A, the Lena-Winslow/Stockton co-op pushed around Aurora Christian 44-20 to claim its second state championship in the last three years.

The win gives the NUIC its sixth state title in team wrestling in the last six years.

The PantherHawks were never really challenged throughout the day, winning their quarterfinals match 52-15 over Tremont and 55-14 over Heyworth in the semifinals.
