Lankinen sets franchise record with 55 saves in IceHogs win

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) The IceHogs used a career night by goalie Kevin Lankinen to beat the first place Admirals 2-1 in overtime Tuesday night.

Lankinen set a career high and franchise record with 55 saves.

Brandon Hagel opened up the scoring in the second period with his eighth of the season on the power play.

The Admirals answered in the third as Lukas Craggs basrely pushed the puck over the line.

Anton Wedin ended it in OT with his fifth of the year.

With the win, Rockford moved up to second place in the Central Division behind the Ads.
