ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- As the Chicago Blackhawks continue to look for answers in net, the goalie carousel continues to turn in Rockford.
With J.F Berube getting the call up to the Blackhawks, that meant either Anton Forsberg or Jeff Glass had to come down to Rockford.
Glass was the odd man out, and after clearing waivers, he was assigned to the Icehogs.
Glass found himself between the pipes in Saturday night's loss, but it's not all doom and gloom for the 31-year-old.
He says he's learned valuable experience from being at the highest level of competition and says he's a better goalie for getting that opportunity.
"I'm really using it to make myself stronger. I'm using it to add fuel to the fire if you want to say. there's no hard feelings, there's none of that" said Glass. "It's a business and I realize that. My job now is to work as hard as I can down here and continue to make this team better and continue to prove that I can play at that level."
