IceHogs drop second straight at home to the Moose

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) Collin Delia stopped 36 of 37 shots in 65 minutes of action, but it wasn't enough as the IceHogs lost at home Sunday to Manitoba in a shootout.

It was Rockford's second straight loss at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The IceHogs had won their first three home games of the season before this weekend. Rockford's offense has gone missing as well over the past 48 hours. The Hogs scored just two goals combined on Saturday and Sunday.

There may still be some bad blood from last spring after the IceHogs swept the Moose in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The physical play sent two Hogs, Matthew Highmore (shoulder) and Carl Dahlstrom (groin), to the showers early with injuries. Head coach Jeremy Colliton is unsure of the severity of either injury.

Rockford is back in action Friday in Milwaukee taking on the Admirals.
