IceHogs can't hold off Monsters at home

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) Anton Forsberg made 25 saves on 27 shots in his debut between the pipes for the IceHogs in Rockford's loss to Cleveland, Saturday at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

The IceHogs put 25 shots on goal, but could only get one past Matiss Kivlenieks on a power play goal from Victor Ejdsell midway through the third period. It was Ejdsell's third goal in his last two games.

Rockford put plenty of pressure on Cleveland late, but it was not enough. The IceHogs are back in action Sunday against Manitoba. Puck drop is set for 4:00 pm.
