DEKALB, Ill. (WIFR) The Huskies scored 15 points in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback and picked up a 24-21 victory over Ohio on Homecoming.
Northern Illinois moved the ball in the first half, but only had nine points to show for it. A 28-yard touchdown run by D.J. Brown was the highlight of the second quarter. But a botched snap on the PAT gave the Huskies only a two-point lead at the half.
The Bobcats then went and put up 14 points in the third quarter, before letting the lead slip away in the fourth.
NIU has won three straight games and is now (4-3, 4-0) on the season.
