Harlem girls bowling wins third consecutive national championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WIFR) The Stateline has a reputation for having some of the best high school bowlers in the state over the last few years. The Harlem girls have taken that stature and showcased it at the national level. The Lady Huskies won their third straight national championship this weekend in Indiana.

The United States High School Bowling Foundation has put on this national tournament since 2016.

Harlem completed the trifecta, winning by just 57 pins over second place Shikellamy. Rebecca Hagerman paced the team with a 672 three-game series.

It's a bit of revenge for the Lady Huskies, after Harlem came up just short in February of winning the state tournament for a third straight year.
