CINCINNATI, Ohio (WIFR) -- Hayden Stewart, 23, will continue his hockey career with the Cincinnati Cyclones out of the ECHL.
Wednesday, the team announced it had come to an agreement with the Rockford native.
The Guilford graduate played in four games at the end of last year with the Buffalo Sabres minor league team, after completing his senior season at Cornell University. Stewart posted a 2-2-0 record along with a .901 save percentage during his first stint with Cincinnati.
While in college, Stewart appeared in 22 games and posted a goals-against average of 2.13 or lower in three of his four seasons.
The Chicago Blackhawks' ECHL organization is the Indy Fuel. The Cyclones play the Fuel in Indianapolis on Oct. 19.
