HAMBURG, Ger. (WIFR) Corey Anderson defeated Glover Teixeira by a unanimous decision in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 134 in Hamburg, Germany.

The Rockton native took the fight on short notice after Illir Latifi withdrew from the fight due to an injury. However, Anderson looked sharp throughout the 15-minute fight, winning on all three judges scorecards 30-27.

The numbers back up what the eyes saw. "Overtime" Anderson had seven takedowns, while Teixeira went 0-4 in that department. The Hononegah graduate also landed 61 more total strikes, including 28 more "significant strikes".

The victory Sunday is his second consecutive unanimous decision in the last three months, after defeating Patrick Cummins on April 21. Anderson is now 12-4 in his professional career. He said in his post-fight interview he will take some time before deciding on his next opponent.
