ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) Six days, two weekends, hundreds of teams and hundreds of college coaches made their way to Rockford for the Chicagoland Summer Showcase, and the final day did not disappoint as well.
Boylan won three games on Sunday, including a 61-57 win in the Gold Bracket championship over Waubonsie Valley.
Titans head coach Brett McAllister was pleased with his team's effort.
"It was great. It being our last tournament of the summer, to be at home, to go out like this with a lot of momentum, kind of playing our best basketball at the end, which is what we want to simulate during our season."
"We got to play great competition, we got to be at home and have a great final day, that's huge for our program."
Plenty of college coaches were on hand for the final day of the live event viewing period, including coaches from Kansas, Kansas State, UW Milwaukee and Southeast Missouri.
Last weekend, 18 athletes were offered scholarships. RPS 205 Director of Athletics expected that number to go up this week.
