ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- In three weeks, Fred VanVleet, his family, and most of Rockford will be holding their breath hoping to hear his name.
Depending on where you look, most mock drafts have the Auburn grad either going late in the second round or being undrafted, but VanVleet can't and won't focus on what other people think. He knows he's an NBA player and he's working on proving it one team at a time.
His most recent tryout was with the Pacers where he says he's not letting the mocks get to him.
"I don't think I have any room on my shoulders for more chips, I'm pretty booked when it comes to that, so it doesn't surprise me, that's the way my story has been and always will be I guess. But there's 30 teams and all it takes is one team to fall in love," says VanVleet.
