Lino's Stuffed Baked Tomatoes


6 tomatoes
2 Cups bread crumbs
1/2 Cup grated romano cheese
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano
1 Tsp. salt
1/2 Tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. chopped garlic


Cut top third off of tomatoes; discard them or you can use the tomato tops in a salad.

In a frying pan, lightly saute the garlic in olive oil. Turn the flame off and combine bread crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper and oregano.

Place tomatoes on a greased baking sheet; drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil and top with the bread crumb mixture. Bake in an oven at 375-degrees for a half-hour.
