Steak Demetrios


  • 10 oz. K.C. strip steak
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2-3 Tbsp. brandy
  • 1-2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 -1 tsp. red pepper
  • Cream or milk

  • Directions

    1. Let pan pre-heat. Add butter to coat pan. Saute steak in skillet on stovetop.

    2. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook to desired doneness or transfer to grill to continue cooking.

    3. Add brandy to flambe.

    4. Add oregano and of crushed red pepper. Add cream or milk and reduce.

    5. Serve sauce over steak.
