Employer Gives Free Massages

In a tough economy many of us may become overwhelmed especially while at work. One local employer apparently got the memo and is putting employees at ease by giving a gentle squeeze. For the next month and a half Northwest Bank in Loves Park will be doling out free massages to their employees once a week. The chair massages are conducted in a soothing environment and feature 20-minute tranquil music and aromatherapy. The president of Northwest, says this is a way to reward good performance during a challenging economy. He says this is a "win-win situation" he says these activities will invest in employees' personal well-being which will then indirectly benefit customers.
