Illinois State Police says some drivers may experience delays heading north on I-90 to Wisconsin.
Crews are working to restore pavement buckles in Wisconsin. ISP learned about reports from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Pavement
can occur on surfaces from a notable change in air temperature, generally from moderate to extreme heat. Experts say the warmer temperature and exposure to sun may cause the pavement to expand and contract, particularly on older and weaker surfaces.
ISP encourages drivers to take caution on the roads and prepare for potential delays.
