Winnebago County announces 36 new COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) Winnebago County Chairperson Frank Haney has announced 36 new cases of COVID-19 and 8 new deaths, bringing the total to 1,684 cases and 52 deaths.

In the conference, Haney and Mayor Tom McNamara discussed next steps in the reopening process for the county.

The next press conference will be Tuesday, May 26th.
