Vote for a free concert series in Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- The Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau partners up with the city of Rockford and the Coalition of Latino Leaders to qualify for the Levitt Grant Award.

The purpose of the grant is to bring free concerts to Davis Park for the summer of 2020.

To make this happen, you must cast your vote online to bring the concert series to our town. Voting is available now and end on Nov. 20.

"For the Levitt Amp concert series, I think folks would see a similar experience to what they saw this year food trucks kids activities and then, of course, music," says John Groh RACVB President/CEO. "This year, we had five weeks of music. We would be looking to expand to ten to twelve weeks of music depending on how the schedule falls, so really doubling up on entertainment and the nights we had this year."

Once the top 25 finalists are selected, the Levitt Foundation will review and select 15 winners.
