Volunteers help with PV Fest

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WIFR) – Employees at a Stateline company that provides medical software services are stepping out of the office and into the communities where they live and work to help make them a little better.

For the company’s PV Fest, volunteers are spending the next few days painting, laying mulch, and cleaning up the classrooms at Concordia Lutheran School in Machesney Park.

Last year, volunteers helped clean up the area around the Machesney Park Mall and build a new fence for GiGi’s Playhouse in Machesney Park.

“Employees of Practice Velocity work in the community we live in and we want to participate within the organizations and help make the community a better place by improving buildings and workplaces,” says urgent care consultant Heather Real.

Volunteers will return to finish up work at Concordia Lutheran School later this month.
