Vacant house fire in Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A vacant home at 815 20th Ave. in Rockford caught fire around 4:15 AM this morning. Flames were showing from all sides of the house when fire crews arrived.

No one was injured in the blaze. The Rockford Fire Department is reporting $40,000 in damages. The house is now condemned. The Rockford Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
