One of Union Pacific's original steam engines will make a stop in Rochelle Tuesday as part of a cross-country tour.
"Big Boy No. 4014" will make a stop at the Rochelle Railroad Park from 9:45-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30.
The stop comes as Union Pacific celebrates the 150th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad.
After two years of restoration, "Big Boy No. 4014" returns to the rails. It's the world's only operating Big Boy locomotive.
Running times and scheduled stops are subject to change due to the nature of operations. For the latest updates, follow the Rochelle Railroad Park
