ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Two Rockford men face felony charges after police found cocaine in their truck during a traffic stop.
Nazario Valencia-Alvarez, 50, and Nazario Valencia-Gutierrez, 23, were in a Toyota pickup truck during the stop on March 5.
Police found two vacuum sealed bags containing 2,428 grams, around five pounds, of cocaine.
Both men are in custody on a $1 million bond. Valencia-Alvarez was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, while Valencia-Gutierrez was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
If convicted, both men face up to 60 years in prison each. They are considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
