Two Rockford men arrested after alleged home burglary, sexual assault

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Two Rockford men are behind bars in connection to a burglary of a Rockford home Monday morning. One suspect also faces sexual assault charges.

Police have arrested Anzio King, 41, and Randy Bray, 35, in connection to the burglary.

Officers responded to reports of a burglary for an apartment in the 2200 block of Seventh Street.

Police say two men broke into a 44-year-old's woman apartment. One suspect allegedly hit and sexually assaulted a victim. Police say the two knew one another.

The woman was hurt, but police say her injuries are non-life-threatening.

King faces charges of home invasion, aggravated battery, residential burglary, armed robbery, criminal sexual assault and unlawful restraint.

Bray faces charges of home invasion, aggravated battery, residential burglary and armed robbery.

Both men were taken to Winnebago County Jail. They are considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
