Two arrested for missing Rockford rapper's death

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Two men are charged with the death of a Rockford rapper and concealing death.

23-year-old William Pickering was reported missing June 1. He was also known as EBE Bandz and Billy Da Kid.

Officers investigated suspicious activity in the 500 block of Fisher Ave. near the Valencia Apartments where Pickering lived.

On Thursday, detectives located a crime scene at 5200 Indian Avenue. Police then found Pickering's body in unincorporated Winnebago County.

William Arzate, 22, is charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of concealing a homicide.

Manuel Ramirez, 22, is charged with one count of concealing a homicide.

Rockford Police Chief Dan O'Shea says police are looking for other people of interest.
