Tow truck procession honors local business owner

SYCAMORE, Ill. (WIFR) -- Tow trucks often show up to give aid, but Thursday dozens of tow trucks gathered in the same place to give praise.

The trucks formed an impressive line in front of the Butala Funeral Home in Sycamore to honor Matthew Johnsen, the owner of Tri State Towing Company in DeKalb, who died from a heart attack at age 47. Matthew Johnsen’s daughter Marissa Jackson describes her dad as kind honest, caring and says her heart is full knowing there was just kind of support for her father.

"It's amazing to see where everyone is coming from and how long they've known them and how many stories they are sharing and my family really appreciates it,” said Jackson.
