Two juveniles accused of armed robbery at Rockford Save-A-Lot

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Two juveniles are accused of an armed robbery at a Rockford Save-A-Lot.

Police say it happened Monday around 3:30 p.m. to the store at 1701 W. State St.

A security guard approached two juveniles leaving the store with stolen merchandise. One of the suspects allegedly displayed a handgun before taking off with the other suspect.

No one was hurt, according to police.

The suspects were described as black males around 15-16 years old.

The armed suspect was described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie with a black jacket, red jeans.

The second suspect was described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a yellow and black windbreaker jacket and black jeans.
