ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Three people were taken to the hospital, one with life threatening injuries after a crash at Perryville and Walton Street.

The crash happened around 7:30 Monday evening.
Police and the Rockford Fire Department are asking drivers to avoid the area for several hours so they can continue their investigation.
