Police say three UPS packages were stolen in front porches in the 1400 block of Winter Drive, the 800 block of Barley Ridge Trail and the 500 block of Country Court.

Officers believe the packages were stolen between late afternoon and early evening Wednesday. It's unknown whether the thefts are connected and no suspects have yet been determined.

Police say some items from stolen packages on Barley Ridge Trail and Country Court were found discarded behind the vacant Shopko building on W. South St. in Freeport.
