Third suspect indicted for murder of Rockford rapper

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A third suspect was indicted on murder and concealment charges for the death of a Rockford rapper.

Dakota Graff, 21, is one of three suspects accused of killing William Pickering, who was also known by rap nicknames of EBE Bandz and Billy Da Kid.

Pickering, 23, was reported missing on June 1. After being reported missing, investigators were called to the 500 block of Fisher Ave. near the Valencia Apartments where Pickering lived.

The investigation helped detectives identify a crime scene at 5200 Indian Avenue. With further information, police say Pickering's body was found at an undisclosed location in unincorporated Winnebago County.

Graff was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, concealment of a homicidal death and obstruction of justice.

Graff faces a sentence anywhere from 20 years to Natural Life. He is currently being held at the Winnebago County Jail with an arraignment set for Sept. 12.

The other two suspects, William Arzate, 22, and Manuel Ramirez, 22, were released on bond​ in July.

Arzate, 22, was charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of concealing a homicide. Ramirez, 22, was charged with one count of concealing a homicide.

Ramirez is scheduled for court on Sept. 10, while Arzata is scheduled for court on Oct. 1.
