Super Spectacular Circus coming to Belvidere in June

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) -- A new attraction comes to Belvidere for the first time just before summer.

The Super Spectacular Circus will stop by Belvidere on June 3.

The main show will be held at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Boone County Fairgrounds. Doors open one hour before show time for the Preshow Festivities, which include meet and greets with performers.

The circus consists of aerialists, acrobats and animals, including Bengal tigers, horses, camels and prancing poodles. The Carden family has organized the circus for more than 55 years.

Tickets go on sale May 5 online​ or the Boone County Fairgrounds box office one hour before show time. General Admission tickets are $14 for children and $20 for adults.
