ROCKFORD, Ill (WIFR) -- Due to the inclement weather the stateline is expecting, Stroll on State will end at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau made the announcement Saturday morning that the annual holiday celebration would end two hours before originally planned.

Organizers say there is still plenty of fun going on despite the weather and encourage people to take part in the festivities.

The fire pits have been canceled. S'mores stations are moved to covered areas, MovieLand is moved to inside the Riverview Ice House.

The Jingle Bell Stage will be moved to the overhang outside of RACVB, the Silver Bell Stage will move to the west side of the RAMP Building (202 Market St.), and the Sleigh Bell Stage to inside of City Hall.
