STILLMAN VALLEY, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Stillman Valley high school junior earns two musical honors, both on the state level.

Jack Orlando will perform the national anthem during the IHSA Girls’ State Basketball series at the end of February.

He received the honor after auditioning at the Illinois Music Educators Association’s All-State Choir performance. Orlando was also chosen as a member of the All-State Choir.

Stillman Valley High School choir director, Jordan Pedigo, says he is thrilled for Orlando and couldn’t be prouder.

Orlando also sings the national anthem at Stillman Valley High School Regional Girls’ basketball games and can be seen in the school’s musical “Bye, Bye Birdie” in early March.
