ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- After celebrating their one year of service, one stateline church is now celebrating the opening of their new location.
Stateline Church opened its doors at their new location last weekend after hosting its services out of Rockford Christian High School over the past year. The church acquired their new space at 601 N. Perryville Rd. last summer and has made renovations to make what they say is their new place to call home. Church administrators say the location is perfect to be able to reach so many people across the stateline.
"We're a place where anyone can come and belong. It doesn't matter where you come from, you can come here and this is home for you and this is family. You can come here and be a part of something that you feel like you can fit in right away," said Tyler Johnson, Associate Pastor at Stateline Church.
Members of Stateline Church say they are happy to be in their own space and excited to be able to make an impact on our community.
