ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- The stars of the HGTV show Good Bones made a stop in the forest city Saturday evening as part of the Rockford Woman's Club 100th celebration of its historic downtown clubhouse.
The mother daughter duo specialize in taking rundown homes and transforming them into stunning remodels. The two spoke to a crowd at the Rockford Theatre about their experiences with renovating homes. Rockford Woman's Club says it's thrilled to have the stars come to Rockford and be able to utilize such a special building in the heart of downtown Rockford.
“Having the stars of Good Bones here is really pretty phenomenal because they just started filming their 4th season. They have now over 13 million viewers and for Rockford to have them agree to come is really pretty amazing,” said president of Rockford Woman’s Club Nancy Whitlock.
Rockford Woman's Club is continuing its celebration by hosting a birthday party next week followed by the launch of its speaker series on November 6th.
