SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WIFR) -- South Beloit police arrest a man they say tried to meet up with a 15-year-old girl in order to have sex with her.

Kurtis A. Masterson, 29, also of South Beloit, is in the Winnebago County Jail on the charge of grooming, which is a felony.

At the end of January, police got a call by the Wisconsin-based Worldwide Predator Hunters. The organization claimed Masterson was trying to meet up with the teen. Officers arrested him February 7.

Masterson is in jail on a $200,000 bond.
