STATELINE (WIFR) -- Another winter storm heads to the Stateline, leading to snow emergencies and winter weather advisories across the region.
As of noon, Boone, Lake, McHenry, Ogle and Winnebago counties all face winter weather advisories while Carroll, Stephenson and Whiteside counties are all under winter storm warning.
According to the National Weather Service, some of these areas could see up to eight inches of snow tonight. In recognition, several communities in the Stateline have declared snow emergencies.
Here is the latest list of snow emergencies declared:
City of Rockford: The city of Rockford has declared a snow emergency will take effect at 9 p.m. Monday. Rockford will enforce the odd/even parking ordinance.
City of Beloit: The snow emergency lasts from 10 p.m. Monday to midnight Wednesday. Residents must move vehicles off streets into driveways or approved off-street parking.
City of Freeport: The snow emergency begins at 6 p.m. Monday and ends on midnight on Tuesday The city is enacting even-odd parking. Streets with designated parking on one side only for an entire city block are exempt.
City of Janesville: The snow emergency takes effect at 8 p.m. All vehicles are required to be removed from city streets and public parking lots.
City of South Beloit: The snow emergency will take place from 6 p.m. Monday through 10 p.m. Tuesday. All snow-related ordinances will be enforced.
Village of Cherry Valley: The snow emergency begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday. A snow emergency for the downtown areas goes into effect starting between 2-6 a.m. Tuesday. No vehicles are allowed to park on village streets until all roads have been cleared.
Village of Machesney Park: The snow emergency starts at 11 p.m. Residents are asked to remove vehicles from the roadway until the snow has stopped and contractors have cleared the roadway of snow.
Village of Poplar Grove: The snow emergency settles in at 6 p.m. Parking on the streets is not allowed.
