Sips and Sprinkles holds grand opening

BELIVIDERE, Ill (WIFR)- There is no better time to indulge in a delicious frozen treat, and luckily for Belvidere residents there is a new ice cream shop in town.
Sips and Sprinkles opened its doors Friday in the 200 block of Locust Street. The shop promises to stay open all year, offering ice cream, pastries, coffee, an outdoor patio area and even indoor heating for those cold winter days.
Heather Steines says her family's business brings something that is missing in the area.
Sips and Sprinkles offers new flavors every day, as well as vegan and gluten-free options.
