Man struck in the leg in Beloit shooting

BELOIT, Wisc. (WIFR) -- The Beloit Police Department is investigating a shooting in Beloit.

Officers were called for a report of a male who received a non-life threatening gunshot wound just after 7 p.m. Sunday near Hackett Street and Forest Avenue.

The victim, identified as 25-year-old Travon Jones-Holmes of Chicago, was transported to an area hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
