Police have identified the man killed from a triple shooting in Beloit last week.
Treron White, 21, of Beloit was identified as the victim. Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gregory A. Carter, a 30-year-old suspect from Beloit, was arrested in Janesville on Wednesday. The Wisconsin Attorney General’s Office will review potential prosecution against Carter due to a potential conflict of interest in the Rock County District Attorney’s Office.
The shooting happened March 11 at the intersection of Elm Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Two others, Devonta D. Brandenburg, 25, of Beloit, and a 15-year-old Beloit teen, were taken to the hospital for gunshot wounds.

Beloit police say the triple shooting Monday night near Elm Street resulted from "a large confrontation involving many individuals" that "led to Monday evening's shooting."
Police say they are actively working on the investigation including "various identification pieces," which is why the homicide victim and injured individuals have not been identified.
Beloit police also ask for the public to refrain from "speculating" on social media regarding potential suspects.
All victims were from Beloit and police say they believe all parties know each other and this was part of an ongoing dispute.
Officials say there was a triple shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday night at the intersection of Roosevelt Ave. and Elm St. in Beloit.
A 15-year- old and 25 year-old male were treated at Mercy hospital with non-life threatening injures.
Another man was found dead at the scene when police arrived.
Nobody is in custody but police are speaking with a number of suspects involved.
Police believe the suspects were known to the victims and that the neighborhood is safe.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area for the next few hours.
Police say all information is preliminary and an investigation is ongoing.
Beloit police are investigating a homicide in the 700 block of Elm Street near Roosevelt Avenue in Beloit. The Rock County Sheriff's Department confirms there was a shooting.
Reports came in after 9:30 p.m. Monday evening, Beloit police are advising the public to avoid the area.
