A woman was charged for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend with a knife in Rockford during an argument.

Jade Larose Fricks, 26, was recently indicted on aggravated domestic battery charges.

Rockford Police met with the victim at the Javon Bea Rockton Campus on Nov. 5, 2019.

Investigators say Fricks pointed a knife at the victim, later identified as her boyfriend. He was treated for an injury to his palm that required stitches.

If convicted, Fricks faces up to seven years in prison. She is next scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 11 at 9 a.m.
