Rockford man, wanted for shooting at car, arrested after tip

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man accused of shooting at car while driving two months ago was arrested Wednesday.

Shyron Henderson allegedly shot a moving car while driving in the 800 block of 10th Street. Police say it happened May 17 around 12:30 p.m.

No one was hurt from the incident. Police issued a warrant for Henderson following an investigation, then received a community tip.

Henderson was found inside a home in the 1400 block of 12th Street. His charges include aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of weapons by a felon.

Henderson is being held in Winnebago County Jail on a $250,000 bond. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
