WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man was arrested Thursday after leading deputies on a brief chase and allegedly having heroin and cocaine in his car.
The chase happened while the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office investigated a narcotics complaint against Dylan D. Brown, 26.
Deputies located the suspect vehicle around 6:30 p.m. As officers approached the vehicle, Brown got out and ran away.
Brown was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine (100-400 grams), possession with intent to deliver heroin (1-15 grams) and obstructing a peace officer.
Brown is being held in Winnebago County Jail. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
