A Rockford man, who allegedly shot himself in the leg, was arrested after police found cocaine in his car.
Police say Tylor Tersip, 23, drove himself to a hospital Sunday around 2 a.m. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
While investigating, officers found several baggies of a substance believed to be crack cocaine in the car Tersip used to get to the hospital.
Tersip was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and also cited for traffic violations.
Tersip is being held at the Winnebago County Jail. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
