Rockford man dead, another loses foot after motorcycle crash in Beloit

BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) -- Published: May 16, 2019, 11:35 a.m.

The Rock County Medical Examiner's Office has released the name of a Rockford man who died Wednesday night in a Beloit motorcycle accident.

The man was identified as 32-year-old Harvey Lee Keller Jr.

According to preliminary results from the forensic examination, Keller died as result of injuries sustained in the traffic crash.

Beloit police and the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department continue to investigate the death.

A 32-year-old Rockford man is dead after a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in Beloit.

Just before midnight, Beloit police say two motorcycles collided on Gateway Blvd. near South Turtle Town Hall Road.

A 32-year-old Rockford man was pronounced dead on scene.

A 30-year-old Rockford man was taken to the hospital with injuries including the loss of his right foot. He's in stable condition.

Police are looking for a third person who may have seen the accident.
