ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man was charged with nearly a dozen counts for sexual assault of a minor.
Troy Perkins, 33, was taken into custody Wednesday.
Rockford police were called to a local hospital on Dec. 1, 2018 to meet with the victim of sexual assault. Police say the victim, under 18 years old, was sexually assaulted at a home in the 2700 block of South Main Street.
Perkins was arrested on four counts of criminal sexual assault and six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Perkins is being held at the Winnebago County Jail on $250,000 (10 percent) bond. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
