ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- A man was arrested Wednesday on several sex charges involving a minor in Rockford.

Saul Colin, 31, is accused of sexually assaulting a victim under 13 years old in the 700 block of Cunningham Street.

Police received a report in February 2016. Officers say Colin shared a domestic relationship with the victim's mother.

An arrest warrant for Colin had been issued in December 2017. Officers made several attempts to find Colin, but say he moved out of the area.

Police say Colin returned to Rockford Wednesday and found near the area of the alleged assault.

Colin faces charges of predatory criminal sexual assault, four counts of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Colin is being held in Winnebago County Jail on a bond of $250,000. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
